Trent Farnes
Trent has spent several years in the social media space, building a successful media agency that was sold in 2022. He has firsthand experience with the power and influence a creator can have on a community, brand, or product.

As co-founder of Seek The Sun, Trent aims to harness that influence for good by collaborating with creators to spread light and positivity. The brand represents a movement of individuals seeking after good things.

Trent is married to his beautiful wife, Chantale, who was his first-grade girlfriend, and they have two amazing sons, Maverick and Legend. Trent loves spending time outdoors, trail running, hiking, skiing, and photography.

Rich Bliss

Rich is an entrepreneur, mountaineer, husband, and father dedicated to making a positive impact. His commitment to community service and personal development is the cornerstone of his life and career. His journey began with a full-time service mission in Okinawa, Japan, during college, where he learned the value of community, service, and perseverance. 

 

Rich’s passion for giving back has led him to work extensively with youth programs, guiding young people on challenging adventures that connect them with nature and themselves. 

As an accomplished entrepreneur and CEO, Rich has successfully led brands to significant achievements and market presence. His extensive business experience equips him with the skills and vision to create impactful ventures.

As a co-founder of Seek the Sun, Rich strives to build a community that spreads light and positivity, encouraging others to see the good in themselves and the world around them. 

Originally from New York, Rich now lives in Utah with his wife, Tania, and their two children.

David Mead

David loves helping people create a more meaningful human experience. That’s the purpose behind every business or project he’s a part of. 

His background is in speaking and consulting, helping leaders learn to drop the corporate façade and bring authentic humanity into their culture and leadership. 

When he was invited to join the founding team at Seek The Sun, he couldn’t say no. The mission to “share the light and be the light” aligns perfectly with his personal vision and sets his soul on fire. 

David has an amazing wife and two beautiful kiddos. He loves to travel and his most memorable travel experience so far is touring rural Vietnam as a passenger on an old motorbike. He’s a morning person who loves to snowboard and hike in the incredible Utah mountains.

Randy Mordecai

Originally from California, Randy Mordecai is a graphic designer now based in Salt Lake City. He began his career in Southern California as a designer for Quiksilver, and worked his way through the surf and skate industry before relocating to Utah. Since landing in Salt Lake City he’s specialized in Branding and Marketing, always looking for opportunities to work with like minded people on projects that keep him connected to the things he loves. Working with Seek The Sun has been able to foster that need for community, health and fitness, and beautiful design.

Mike Malmrose

Mike is a seasoned marketer, entrepreneur, and founding team member of Seek the Sun. He runs a digital marketing agency where he helps brands grow through strategy, storytelling, and performance-driven advertising. His experience spans platforms like Meta, Google, Amazon, and Shopify - always with a focus on launching meaningful products and building communities around them.

Mike’s passion for wellness and personal growth aligns closely with Seek the Sun’s mission to “share the light and be the light.” He believes in the power of intentional living and strives to create brands that uplift and inspire.

Outside of work, Mike’s greatest joy is his family. He and his wife have four amazing kids and most of his free time is spent cheering them on at games, playing video games together, or winding down with a good movie. A lifelong sports enthusiast, Mike also prioritizes health and fitness as part of living a vibrant, purpose-driven life.
